We are looking for candidates working in one of the following subject areas:

Subjects (Group Reffert)

• Supersymmetric Gauge Theories, their dualities and deformations
• Brane realizations of supersymmetric gauge theories
• CFTs in sectors of large charge

Subjects (Group Blau)

• String Theory, Quantum Gravity and Black Holes
• Topological Field Theory and Mathematical Physics
• General Relativity

Application

• You should apply via the Leuven Joint Online Postdoc Application Site (this site will go online October 1st 2019).
• Please follow the Instructions there. In particular, all the usual documents (CV, research plan, letters of recommendation) should be uploaded to that site.
• Application Deadline is November 30th.
• Incomplete Applications or Applications via (e)mail will not be considered.
• Please indicate Bern among your preferences.
• If for some reason you are particularly interested in joining this group, you can of course additionally let us know about this directly via email.
• Note: due to special rules concerning funding provided by the Swiss National Science Foundation,
  applicants for a position in the group Blau should have obtained their PhD after July 1st 2017.
